With 16 years of experience as a meetings and events professional, Rachel is a seasoned industry expert bringing deep expertise managing events of all size and caliber. Rachel leads Cvent’s 30-person global planning team, helping them organize more than 1,200 events worldwide every year. In addition to managing Cvent’s customer-facing events, Rachel’s team is in charge of Cvent’s comprehensive corporate internal events program for its 4,300+ employees around the world – helping to drive engagement and support the company’s corporate initiatives and enhance its unique culture.

Rachel has been instrumental in overseeing & growing Cvent’s annual customer conference, Cvent CONNECT, from a 200-person once-a-year event, into a renowned global event technology conference approaching 5,000 attendees. Cvent CONNECT U.S. is now the largest event technology conference in the world and to accommodate growing global demand, Cvent CONNECT Europe was launched in 2017 and has grown exponentially ever since.

Prior to joining Cvent, Rachel was a lead meeting and event planner at Morgan Stanley, one of the nation’s leading investment firms, managing C-level events including some of the financial industry’s most high-profile equity and fixed income conferences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Virginia Tech.
