CMP Exam Prep Course

COURSE OVERVIEW

Earning the Events Industry Council’s Certified Meeting Planner designation showcases your industry expertise to employers and clients and enhances prestige among peers. However, with the last standardized exam in the rearview mirror for many, navigating the CMP-International Standards (CMP-IS) and related study material can be intimidating.

This new course from the long-time leaders in professional development and online education, is designed to provide you with the strategies, resources, and knowledge to be successful when sitting for the CMP exam.

With self-paced content to complete each week, weekly live online class meetings, a peer-based community forum and access to on-demand videos to support additional knowledge retention, ELI’s CMP Exam Prep Course provides comprehensive support for your entire CMP certification journey.

Participating in study groups help learners work together toward common goals of learning, gain new perspectives, learn new study skills, and fill in learning gaps. However, taking and/or completing this course does not guarantee passing the CMP Exam.

The course is taught by Carolyn Browning, CMP, CMM, HMCC, who has helped hundreds identify and address knowledge and skills gaps, develop a personal learning plan, and prepare for the exam.

Who is this course for?
  • You are a meeting professional and need some help preparing for the CMP exam
  • You have already submitted your application and are not sure how to focus your studying
  • You need additional CE to submit your application and want help focusing your studying (CMP credits given for all sessions; however, if you have already submitted your application, CE is a bonus and won’t count towards your application or recertification)

Students should be actively pursuing the CMP designation with the goal of taking the exam within 2-3 months of completing this course.
