Matt Homann’s passion is helping people think, meet and learn together better. A life-long entrepreneur, he’s working to reinvent the meeting, redesign old processes and create the case for change.
Matt is the founder and CEO of Filament, a company who’s mission is to power the world’s best meetings. He has suffered from “Idea Surplus Disorder” as long as he can remembers, and has a natural knack for helping really smart people think, meet and learn together better. An accomplished keynote speaker and creative facilitator, Matt has worked with legal, accounting, financial services, nonprofit, and healthcare professionals around the world, as well as with executives from organizations including Google, McDonald’s, HP, IBM, The Federal Reserve, DuPont and the US Military. In his previous life as a lawyer (don’t hold that against him), he earned a reputation as a tireless advocate for legal innovation, alternative fees, and client-focused service. Matt is also the founder and former CEO of Invisible Girlfriend and Invisible Boyfriend, the startup that pioneered virtual companionship and that was featured on The Today Show.
